The SET index remained falling, ending at 1,719.82 points, down 1.23% over-week. The average daily trading value was THB71,452.87 million, that being 24.02% higher. The mai closed at 458.99 points, 2.04% lower over-week.
The SET index faced energy share sell-offs, as global oil prices dropped early in the week, and also banking share sell-offs. Even though, it then was supported shortly after global oil prices rebounded, but it was not enough to help the index at the end of the week from an additional foreign pressure amid concerns on US international trade policies. Moreover, foreign investors continued selling off.
