Thailand’s shrimp export value is projected to shrink by 3.6% in 2026, marking the fourth consecutive year of decline (Current Issue No.3628)

คะแนนเฉลี่ย
  • KResearch expects Thailand's shrimp export value in 2026 to reach USD 1.075 billion, a 3.6-percent YoY contraction, due to declining shrimp demand in Thailand’s key trading partner countries stemming from sluggish economic conditions and weakened purchasing power, the more pronounced full-year impact of reciprocal tariffs, and intense competition from major competitors, particularly Ecuador and Indonesia.
  • Thai shrimp exports continue to lack competitiveness due to Thailand’s limited ability to increase production volumes, higher production costs compared to its rivals, and intensified price competition resulting from the trade war.
