The average daily trading value was THB68,152.56 million, up 8.55% over-week. The mai closed at 248.44 points, up 3.35% over-week.The SET rose shortly early in the week as the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand showed signs of easing, but fell later as global oil prices plunged on oversupply concerns. The SET rose again around midweek supported by energy shares as oil prices jumped on the US-Iran tensions. However, the SET pared gains somewhat at the end of the week in line with foreign stock markets as hopes of COVID-19 treatment took a hit.
