The SET index dropped over-week, ending at 1,667.15 points, down 0.42% over-week. The average daily trading value was THB42,946.66 million, being 5.50% lower. The mai closed at 365.54 points, decreasing 0.80% over-week.
The SET index fell early in the week amid concerns over domestic political issues, in spite of energy share purchases supported by rising global oil prices. However, the SET index rose later on communication shares profit-taking for their 1Q-19 earning results before pairing all gains at the end of the week, along with foreign stock markets, as global oil prices dropped.
