The average daily trading value was THB77,688.63 million, up 15.22% over-week. The mai closed at 284.87 points, up 4.09% over-week.The SET surged early to midweek on the reopening of economies of Thailand and other countries, and the progress on the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. The SET then dropped amid concerns over rising tensions between US-China, as China approved a resolution to impose a new national security legislation in Hong Kong defying a threat by US. However, the SET rose again at the end of week, supported by the deliberation of the third phase of Thailand's reopening plan.
