Total Investments

คะแนนเฉลี่ย

Highlights

  • An element of expenditures in the GDP, Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) is an indicator of total national investment. In 2008, GFCF accounted for 22.3 percent of GDP. The GFCF is related to the economy in that it affects production, employment, public-sector revenue and expenditures, and households; it helps to expand the national economy.
  • KASIKORN RESEARCH CENTER projects that GFCF in first quarter 2010 will rise by a high rate, after a contraction of 3.4 percent YoY in fourth quarter 2009; mainly driven by the private investment. In 2009, total investment declined by as high as 9.0 percent, due to the delay of investment plans of the business sector amid the global economic recession.
  • As for 2010, KResearch expects a investment growth of 4.0 to 8.5 percent, depending on continuation of the global economic recovery, domestic political situation as well as resolution of the Map Ta Phut impasse.
