Imports into Thailand may be categorized as: raw materials/partially assembled products (42.7%), capital goods (25.9%); fuel (17.4%); consumer goods (9.5%); and transport vehicles/equipment (4.4%). Of total imports, 64.2 percent are from Japan, the European Union, ASEAN, China and the United States.
