week, pressured by the rising US bond yields. The Thai bourse then surged
during the rest of the week in line with other stock markets as US bond yields
retreated from recent highs and supported by the progress of the US stimulus
measures. However, the SET pared gains somewhat at the end of the week on
profit-taking after having responded to positive factors during the week and
concerns about domestic political issues.
