The average daily trading value was THB53,922.77 million, down 12.81% over-week. The mai closed at 304.82 points, up 0.29% over-week.The SET index dropped sharply early in the week on sell-offs of shares in many sectors, especially the banking sector, as the Bank of Thailand plans to implement practice guidelines to regulate financial institutions' fee charge calculation. However, the SET surged around midweek as COVID-19 fears eased somewhat, before dropping again during the rest of the week, as the death tolls and infection cases from Covid-19 in China rose dramatically.
