The Baht hit a 1-month low while the SET faced foreign investor sell-offs.

The SET index dropped over-week, ending at 1,641.44 points, down 1.07% over-week. The average daily trading value was THB52,948.10 million, that being 12.63% higher. The mai closed at 376.51 points, decreasing 2.02% over-week.

The SET index faced foreign investor sell-offs throughout the week. The index rose early in the week on big-cap share support, including those in the energy, banking and service sectors. However, the index paired all gains at the end of the week amid concerns over domestic factors and uncertainty toward the US-China trade deal. In addition, the market was affected by communication share sell-offs due to its weak Q4-18 earning results.
