The average daily trading value was THB69,826.41 million, down 26.01% over-week. The mai closed at 226.36 points, down 2.47% over-week.The SET fell sharply early in the week amid concerns over the global economic recession due to the fast-spreading COVID-19, while another emergency rate cut by the Fed early in the week also prompted investors to sell risky assets. However, the SET rebounded at the end of the week, supported by large-cap stocks especially energy stocks and emergency actions of world-wide central banks including cutting rates and providing liquidity to financial systems.
