The Thai bourse dropped over-week. The SET fell early to midweek in line with other stock markets amid negative factors such as concerns about the Fed’s tighter monetary policy, prolonged Russia-Ukraine crisis and the imposition of lockdown measures in many Chinese cities. However, the SET recovered somewhat later, after having responded to aforementioned negative factors. Additionally, it was supported by the purchases of energy and construction material stocks.
On Friday, April 29, 2022, the SET closed at 1,667.44 points, down 1.37% over-week. The average daily trading value was THB75,679.18 million, up 8.11% over-week. The mai closed at 669.88 points, down 2.76% over-week.
