The Baht was volatile before weakening late in the week, while the SET rose on eased concerns over external risks.


​​       The SET index rose over-week, ending at 1,670.06 points, up 0.91% over-week. The average daily trading value was THB57,178.33 million, down 5.83% over-week. The mai closed at 354.12 points, up 0.40% over-week.

        ​The SET index fell early in the week amid concerns over external factors, but it then rebounded around midweek as external situations eased, including a chance of no-deal Brexit  while Hong Kong formally withdrew the controversial extradition bill, plus the US and China agreed to return to the negotiating table in October. However, the SET was capped by sell-offs of foreign investors at the end of the week.
