Thai F&B market faces a challenging end to 2026 as fierce competition persists; market value is projected to grow 3.9%, slowing from last year (Current Issue No.3655 Full Ed.)

คะแนนเฉลี่ย
  • KResearch projects that Thailand’s food and beverage (F&B) market will grow 3.9 percent in 2026. However, this growth will remain uneven as fragile consumer purchasing power, intensifying competition, and rising operating costs continue to squeeze profit margins across all segments.
  • The food business is forecast to expand by 3.8 percent, led by street food, which is expected to outperform the market average, supported by the “Thais Help Thais Plus” co-payment scheme. Meanwhile, the beverage business (including bakeries and ice cream shops) is projected to grow 5.1 percent.
  • F&B operators must brace for the slowing market momentum after government stimulus measures expire, by differentiating themselves through strong value-for-money propositions or a distinctive brand identity to sustain competitiveness and attract consumers.
