China’s exports rose by 5.8% YoY in June 2025, with shipments to Thailand posting the highest growth in ASEAN (Business Brief No.4173 Full Ed.)

  • Following the US-China trade deal on reciprocal tariff reductions, China’s exports accelerated for the first time since March 2025, expanding by 5.8 percent YoY in June, up from 4.8 percent YoY in May this year.
  • China’s shipments to the US contracted by (-)16.1 percent YoY in June, compared to (-)34.5 percent YoY in the previous month. Among ASEAN countries, its exports to Thailand posted the highest growth at 27.9 percent YoY, followed by Vietnam at 23.8 percent YoY.
