BI holds the interest rate at 4.75%, emphasizing currency stability (Business Brief No.4228 Full Ed.)

คะแนนเฉลี่ย
  • Bank Indonesia (BI) maintained the interest rate at 4.75 percent to support the Rupiah amid ongoing capital outflows. Meanwhile, the economy is struggling to recover following major floods in Sumatra.
  • Looking into 2026, KResearch expects BI to lower interest rates at least twice during 1H26, if the Rupiah begins to stabilize, inflation remains within the target range, and the pressure from capital outflows gradually subsides.
