คะแนนเฉลี่ย

  • Thai exports in July 2026 expanded by 21.6 percent YoY, broadly in line with KResearch’s forecast. More than 60 percent of this growth was driven by the electronics sector, which continued to benefit from strong demand related to AI and data centers, while some products also continued to benefit from US import tariff exemptions.
  • Thailand is likely to reach a record-high trade deficit (customs basis) of around USD 50 billion this year. Thai imports may face additional upward pressure from the government’s energy transition measures and the terms of trade negotiations with the US, the details of which are yet to be clarified and warrant close monitoring in the period ahead.
  • KResearch maintains its 2026 growth forecasts for Thai exports and imports at 14.0 percent and 27.0 percent, respectively. KResearch also retains its view that both export and import momentum will decelerate over the remainder of the year, following the earlier surge in trade activity, amid headwinds from US trade measures.
