Substantial front-loading of Thai shipments continued in July 2025, particularly for electronic goods (Business Brief No.4188 Full Ed.)

คะแนนเฉลี่ย
  • Thai exports in July 2025 expanded at a high rate of 11.0 percent YoY, resulting from the substantial front-loading of electronic goods shipments as well as fresh durian exports to China, due to a low base effect.
  • Although the US was set to enforce reciprocal tariffs in August, Thai exports to the US in July 2025 continued to record favorable growth, driven by the front-loading of shipments, particularly for electronic goods, ahead of additional tariff measures related to Section 232 and transshipment.
  • KResearch maintains its view that Thai exports in 2H25 will face a contraction, with full-year growth projected at 3.4 percent. However, the impact of US tariffs may be delayed, depending on the clarity of additional US tariff measures.
