The Baht weakened while the SET pared gains somewhat at the end of the week due to mounting risk of second wave of COVID-19 in US


​​           The SET rose over-week, ending at 1,372.27 points, up 3.15% over-week. The average daily trading value was THB63,299.57 million, up 11.53% over-week. The mai closed at 303.04 points, up 2.39% over-week.

           ​The SET dropped slightly early in the week before rising continuously during the rest of the week, supported by Thailand's lockdown easing and tourism stimulus measures, better-than-expected China's and US June economic data, news regarding the progress in the development  of a COVID-19 vaccine. However, the SET pared gains somewhat at the end of the week, amid concerns over the rapid spread of COVID-19 around the world, especially in US, as COVID-19 cases surged continuously.
