Thailand’s natural rubber export value to China in 2026 is expected to show slower growth of 1.8% to USD1,998 million, due to intensified competition.

คะแนนเฉลี่ย
► China is Thailand's number one export market for natural rubber, accounting for 39.2% of total exports. Although China primarily imports rubber from Thailand, over the past 10 years Thailand has faced increasing challenges as China's import share from Thailand has declined.
► Thailand's natural rubber export value to China in 2026 is expected to grow by 1.8% to USD1,998 million. This slowdown reflects Thailand's loss of competitiveness in the Chinese market, as seen in declining market shares across all rubber types, including block rubber, concentrated latex, and ribbed smoked sheets, while competitors' shares in China have increased.
► The decline in competitiveness of Thai rubber in China is due to increased market penetration by competitors, including rapid advancements in production capabilities. In addition, competitors have lower production costs and selling prices than Thailand, supporting their export growth and market share gains. At the same time, China is actively promoting domestic rubber cultivation.
