Global energy polarization is intensifying, while Thai businesses still need to accelerate their transition to clean energy.

คะแนนเฉลี่ย
  • The world is becoming increasingly polarized in terms of energy: the United States is prioritizing fossil fuels, while Europe and China are accelerating support for clean energy. At the same time, many countries are beginning to adopt carbon measures as trade conditions.
  • Thai businesses inevitably need to transition toward clean energy, driven by pressures from global trade and Thailand's climate legislation. In addition, operating costs in many sectors are highly sensitive to rising electricity prices, which are expected to continue increasing.
  • Solar energy is the most accessible option in the Thai context. Businesses can adopt solar power through various models (e.g., direct investment, green finance, leasing, private PPAs, and ESCO), each offering different levels of cost savings and investment returns. Therefore, selecting the most suitable model is important for each business.
